Tom Francesconi and his sense of the world around him

American artist Tom Francesconi studied art at the University of Eastern Illinois. Then he attended evening watercolor at the American Academy of Arts in Chicago, being busy, at that time, full-time in the advertising business. To whom, by the way, he dedicated twelve years of his life. Francesconi was forever grateful to those evening lessons - he was fortunate enough to study under the leadership of the famous American aqueduct, Irving Shapiro, for two years.

The advertising business has remained in the past, and Tom Francesconi devoted himself entirely to painting and the world of contemporary art. Thanks to his work, for four years, as president, and influence in the artistic environment, the North-Western Society of Watercolorists has received international status. Today the artist lectures in colleges and museums. Art publications constantly publish his articles and research results.

No less famous are his works. They were exhibited in more than thirty-five national art exhibitions, and the number of personalities long exceeded fifty. The list of awards and prizes received by Tom Francesconi's canvases has more than a hundred items. Many paintings are a source of pride in corporate and private collections. But the personal desires of the artist in relation to their own work have always been much more modest. He always said that with the help of a brush and watercolors he was able to show to others how he sees and feels our world around him.
